Item Upgrade Tips From The Most Successful In The Industry
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original item's level, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike item upgrading and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank accounts. Furthermore, item upgrade can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
