The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They are purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with a button, which displays an item's preview at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment you can locate and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
